phototherapy

Here's a series of photos, my first attempt at phototherapy. I'm not sure exactly how phototherapy works, but I like it so far! I think it entails mostly taking meaningful pictures, then discussing them. Basicly art therapy with a camera.

So, the first couple of photos I took because I was intrigued by my inability to differentiate the line between the sky and the sea, and the questions of perception and reality that this brought up.

The next two I took since, while taking photos at the shore, I became trapped by the passing train. I randomly snapped several shots and was amazed at how similar these two turned out to be to eachother.

The last one is of a bouquet that I picked and posed.

(thanks for listening.)

older and wiser

I am officially 23 years old. I feel as if I am getting old, but suppose that I should not say this, as the last time I did (which was at my school where the average student age is about 30,) the comment was not recieved well. I realize that I have years and years to go before I can consider myself old, but I am surprised at how much of a milestone each birthday actually feels like.

On the morning of my birthday I woke up with this phrase running through my brain: "Love's treasure is truly worth a box to hold it in." Sounds somewhat wise, doesn't it? Maybe I am reaching milestones in thought.

Ma and Pa have come for a semi-surprise visit. We are about to go and hit the town.

3.2.1...celebrate

Everyone must have an alcholic beverage and/or chocolate today. These are the orders. I say so, since its my birthday and its groundhog day. That gives you at least two reasons to celebrate. Three if spring comes soon.
