There are countless festivals and other festivities going on around town which I have been frequenting. I've taken to public transit as it makes me feel at one with the people, moving like blood through the city. One day I walked, ran, drove, biked, took the bus, seabus, skytrain, and B-line. (That day I set my personal record for transportation methods.) Another day my car took up the bad habit of smoking (fortunately it was only a cracked radiator hose) so I biked an hour and a half around the city until my car was fixed.
I've also been house hunting. Here is the house that I hope to live in:

And its even cuter in the front and inside! We will hopefully have a meeting with the realtor to discuss details soon, so in the meantime I am trying not to get my hopes up. But we do already have a name for it and rooms picked out...
I finished up my practicum at the elementary school by saying goodbye to all of my kids. I finish up another site Wednesday, and break from the hospital for the summer. I'm getting good at goodbyes.
I start a new practicum on Saturday doing art therapy at Camp Goodtimes, a summer camp for kids who have cancer. I blame recent time loss on preparations for this as it will be a big event: four weeks of doing art, (among other things,) all day and night with kids of all ages and stages in treatment... it is going to be intense.
umm...I think that is the gist of my life right now. I'll try not to slip into a vortex again, as I do still want to be an active part of this bloggin community, but I will disappear for a week at a time come Saturday...
yikes, summer camp. I am going to have to learn how to assimilate into this culture. Anyone know any cheesy songs or games?
