Hark! the wedding bells have sounded.

On Saturday, September 15, 2007 I witnessed a most beautiful occasion: Beka and Craig were married.
The wedding took place outdoors, in the mystical California mountains. It was a perfectly sunny day with a fall chill in the evening air. The crowd was an elegant, intimate group gathered from different cultures across the continent.
It was a vintage and classy event, with details such as live jazz musicians and a dinner reception lit entirely by candlelight. Definitely worth all of the work that was put into it!

And now my dear friend Beka is married and I have returned to life in Vancouver.
(I discovered 64 bobby pins in my hair left over from this occasion and the bee hive I wore to celebrate it. They set off the metal detector in the airport.)

bachelorette weekend.

I'm in Redlands, California right now. I am drinking my morning coffee which Beka geniously added a tad of cinnamon to the grounds. Delicious. Soon we are going to work on making decorations for her wedding. In five days Beka is getting married!

We had a bit of bachelorette party this weekend. Instead of getting a stripper we got a video camera! It has been an excellent investment already.

fall phase

I left this beautiful land this morning and returned to the city. It was a peaceful, wonderful visit.
After unpacking bags and saying hello to a few local friends, I now begin to prepare for the fall phase of 2007.

I start work at the school tomorrow bright and early. Most likely, anyways. I've been told to show up and there will most likely be work for me. eep. Let's hope for the best.

In other news, Miss Heidi Buit made a website for my photoghaphy! She is pictured below. And you might someday see this photograph, or some like it on the site. It's not quite finished yet, and I still need to figure out how to add photographs to it.
