Approximately 25 degrees Celcius today and so I am one happy girl. It is strange how emotions are so connected with the weather, isn't it? This city is an entirely different place depending on Centigrade and precipitation. In January, during our stretch of 29 days of rain in a row, Vancouver was a sombre place. Now, with the warmth, it is vibrant and alive and so busy. Traffic is terrible, but everything else is incredible.
I'm in a time of transition. Yesterday roommate Jana moved out to take her place in the Rockies for the summer. I'm gonna miss her and the coffee she made almost every morning. Here's a picture of her and roommate Kenda inhaling gelato on a recent trip to Commercial Drive.

Last weekend dear friend Margaret Den Boer was in the vicinity for an interview at Abbotsford Christian School. I am happy that she is amazing enough to ace the interview, since it means that she may be in the vicinity in the fall again! The greater Vancouver area is even better with her here. This picture is of Margaret and Sara reunited in front of Mill Lake, Abbotsford.

Last week of classes is upon me! After Thursday there will be no more trips to school for classes or required readings until September. Only practicums and thesis writing and research for me... Some of which I can do at the beach or in the woods, I am thinking/hoping.
